UK: Audi names new chief

Jeremy Hicks has been appointed director of Audi UK from 1 August.

He will move from the post of head of group service at Volkswagen Group UK, taking over from Kevin Rose.

Rose has been appointed to a new senior role within Volkswagen at the group's headquarters in Wolfsburg.

During his six-year tenure, Audi UK sales almost doubled to almost 80,000 last year.

Hicks has been with Volkswagen UK for almost six years. He previously served 14 years with GM.

Allan Rushforth will succeed Hicks from 1 October.
