In the first quarter of 2016, Preh continued to achieve double-digit sales growth and for the full financial year, management, headed by new CEO, Christoph Hummel, expects further growth.

Preh notes its automotive business was strengthened by the purchase of TechniSat Automotive (now Preh Car Connect).

Also, Preh subsidiary Preh IMA Automation (PIA), entered the North American market by acquiring automation specialist EVANA, now Preh IMA Automation Evansville.

PIA's new US company has 50 years' experience in special machinery construction and with around 100 employees, had 2015 sales of US$24m.
