FRANCE: Faurecia to shut down Nompatelize plant

By Graeme Roberts | 15 June 2015

Faurecia plans to shut down its seat frame plant in Nompatelize, France, at the end of 2015.

The closure will lead to the dismissal of 78 workers.

The company said in a statement: "The current levels of activity and forecasts are not sufficient to maintain operations in the face of ongoing losses."

Over the last three years, Faurecia has been laying off workers temporarily and moving staff to other sites amid falling sales, Reuters reported.
