CHINA: Toyota November sales rise 41%

By Graeme Roberts | 3 December 2013

Japanese automakers continue to report rising sales after a plunge in 2012 due to a buyer backlash over a territorial dispute with Japan over a cluster of islands.

Toyota said sales rose 41% year on year in November to 89,800 units while the 11 month tally was 809,000 units.

Barring an unforseen dip in December, it's on course for a record, the automaker added.
