INDIA: Mahindra to reduce production

By Dave Leggett | 12 July 2013

Mahindra is planning to reduce production in response to slower demand in India.

The company said it would observe ‘no production days’ at its automotive plants for a period ranging from one to eight days during July in order to align its production with sales requirements.

Indian media reported that Mahindra said the move would not impact the availability of vehicles as it has ample stocks.
