THAI FLOODS: Mitsubishi extends production halt to 12 November

By Graeme Roberts | 7 November 2011

Mitsubishi Motors has extended its Thai plant production halt to 12 November. The Laem Chabang plant - the main source of Triton/L200 light pickup trucks and the Challenger Sport SUV - has not built any vehicles since the night shift on 13 October.

"Mitsubishi Motors will continue monitoring the situation in Thailand and, based on developments, will decide whether or not to restart production from 14 November," the automaker said in a statement.
