Bowling Green, Kentucky's Brian Rose, driver of the Robo Enterprises #72 Monte Carlo, left Saturday night's 50 lap NASCAR Weekly Racing Series race at Nashville Speedway USA after a lap 44 collision had him trapped against the wall.

After starting the race in 21st position, Rose climbed his way to the 16th position before spinning out in turn two of lap 33 sending him to the back of the pack. Rose returned to the race without losing a lap or visiting pit row.

Rose used the next 11 laps to climb up to 14th, but a two-car crash directly in front of him blocked the track, forcing him to skid into the pile- up. With significant damage to the Robo Enterprises Monte Carlo, Rose was able to make it to pit row without any assistance, but was unable to return to the race. Rose finished in 27th place.

"I couldn't believe how well the car was running," Rose said. "Even after my spin in lap 33, I was able to quickly work my way up through the pack."

"We're getting all of our bad luck out of the way early in the season," Rose added. "We're due for a strong finish this week. I expect to be near the top when the checkered flag falls next time."

In his second year of racing in the Late Model Stock Car Division of NASCAR, Rose is quickly developing a reputation as a driver who will soon be a consistent presence in the winner's circle. Rose's next race is this Saturday at Nashville Speedway USA.
