Toyota plans to start exporting parts that adapt vehicles to suit disabled occupants to the US, UK and France. The company is already displaying adapted vehicles in the US states of Ohio, Louisiana and California and plans showrooms displays in Paris from early next year.

Toyota will offer vehicles with rotating seats which provide easier entry and exit for wheelchair users. In the US, the seats will be offered in the popular Sienna minivan and, in Europe, for the Corolla and Yaris Verso (minivan) models.

Toyota Shatai, the top domestic maker of vehicles for the disabled buyers, will produce the specialised parts for export.
