Toyota has begun recalling 13,000 Yaris hatchbacks made at its new factory France for inspection after it found defects in bolt torquing, Toyota officials said on Wednesday, according to Kyodo News.

Toyota received a complaint from a French customer in July that something was wrong with a rear wheel, a company spokesman told the news organisation.

Kyodo News said that Toyota, which began building cars in France in January, found that there were cases in which the bolts holding the rear wheel to the hub were not tightened enough.
