Tata Motors and Fiat plan to spend INR30bn (US$468m) on an Indian assembly line for SUVs.

The line, which will have annual capacity of 100,000 units, will be built at Fiat's Ranjangaon plant, ETAuto.com said.

"While Tata Motors will look to manufacture its Q501 and Q502 SUVs on the line, Fiat is expected to use it for Jeep models," ET Now reported.
