Nissan Centre Europe has unveiled Guillaume Pelletreau as managing director, leading the automaker's business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Pelletreau joins Nissan Centre after two and a half years as vice president Corporate Strategy and Planning at Nissan Europe. A Nissan veteran of 12 years, before his role at Nissan Europe, he served as managing director Nissan Portugal, sales director at Infiniti Europe and marketing director at Nissan West Europe.

"Guillaume has a long and successful career within Nissan, having worked in many roles across the business," said Nissan Europe SVP Sales and Marketing, Philippe Saillard.

"He has the experience, drive and leadership necessary to enable us to achieve our goals in this important region. We wish him every success in his new position."

Pelletreau will report to Saillard and will be based in Cologne, Germany. He succeeds Thomas Hausch who has decided to leave the company to pursue other professional challenges.

"We would like to thank [Thomas] Hausch for his contribution to Nissan during the last four and a half years and wish him all the best for the future," added Saillard.

"Under his leadership the Nissan brand in Germany has significantly grown, notably thanks to improved customer quality."
