Mercedes-Benz USA is the first regional division to announce the end of Maybach vehicle sales.

New, 2013 model year price lists which have just become available on the firm's media website, have the word 'discontinued' against all Maybach model variants.

There has been no news on the topic of Maybach's future since Daimler's Dieter Zetsche confirmed in late 2011 that current cars would not be replaced. The company's CEO did not say when the brand would be axed but it is now clear that production of the 57 and 62 series cars has ceased.
