Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will recall F-Type models sold in the US due to a wiring issue.

Reuters reported the seat belt harness connector might not have been properly wired which could lead to front passenger air bag deactivation.

The company will recall 7,079 cars in a recall which should be announced by 5 January 2015.

There have been no reports of accidents or injuries due to the issue but JLR has received three field reports about the problem.
