Brazilian Corsa range includes unique sedan version (left)
General Motors Brazil is recalling 916 airbag-equipped Corsa models made in 1999 and 2000, writes Rogério Louro Alves.

As in Europe, the Brazilian Corsa’s recall is to repair seatbelts. GM said that the belts in airbag-equipped Corsas could break if subjected to great stress.

Last October, GM recalled 1.3 million Brazilian Corsas, made between1994 and 1999, to change the seatbelts.
