General Motors will stop a manufacturing line in Argentina for four days in September owing to the sluggish demand in Brazil, a company spokesman said.

The Argentine-made vehicles are exported mainly to Brazil, Reuters reported.

General Motors said in a statement: "GM has decided to suspend production for four days during the month of September. The objective is to adjust to Brazil's current demand."
