Geely Automobile announced that the total sales volume of the group for the month of April 2018 was 128,817 units, an increase of approximately 49% over the same period last year and up approximately 6% from March 2018. Volume was boosted by sales of crossover and SUV models, as well as by the addition of Lynk-branded cars, now launched in the Chinese market.

The group's exports volume was up around 187% year-on-year to 1,860 units in the month of April 2018.

During the month of April 2018, the group's total sales volume in the China market was 126,957 units (including the sales volume of Lynk-branded vehicles sold by the group's 50%-owned joint venture), an increase of around 47% from the same period last year. The total sales volume in the first four months of 2018 was 515,113 units, an increase of approximately 41% from the same period last year, and achieving around 33% of the group's full year sales volume target of 1,580,000 units in 2018.

The spokesman of Geely Automobile said, "During the month of April 2018, the sales volumes of 'New Emgrand' and 'Vision' sedan were 22,667 units and 12,417 units, respectively. The sales volume of 'Geely Boyue was 23,025 units. The sales volume of 'Emgrand GS', its crossover SUV model, was 12,425 units. The sales volume of 'Emgrand GL', its A+ segment sedan model, was 12,749 units. The sales volume of 'Vision SUV' was 10,983 units."

During the month of April 2018, the sales volume of "Lynk 01" was 9,079 units.
