Chrysler Group has appointed Joe ChamaSrour president of DaimlerChrysler de Mexico, effective January 1, 2004.

ChamaSrour will oversee sales, production and service operations for Chrysler Group products in Mexico, and will report to Joe Eberhardt, executive vice president of global sales, marketing and service.
He succeeds Miles Bryant, who has announced his intention to retire this year.

ChamaSrour joined Chrysler in 1986 and has previously been finance director of Chrysler de Mexico, in 1993. Most recently, he was vice president and chief financial officer of the NAFTA world engine joint venture.

Chrylser has also appointed Robert Schott has been named vice president of worldwide procurement and supply commodity strategy and Scott Garberding as vice president of worldwide supplier quality and product teams.
