Autoliv, the world's biggest producer of seat belts and airbags, posted higher than expected fourth-quarter sales and profit on Thursday and forecast turnover and earnings growth of at least 15% in the current quarter, according to Reuters. Reuters said Sweden-based Autoliv's pre-tax profit increased 25% year-on-year to $SU76.7 million, against a market consensus of $73 million and a figure of $48.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2001.
