Russia increased output of road vehicles 8.1% to 987,647 in January-October 2000 from 913,831 in January-October 1999, according to provisional totals provided to just-auto.com by AO Avtoselkhozmash Holding (ASM), an automotive association in Moscow. Ten-month volumes grew year-on-year for three of four types of vehicles: 10.8% for trucks to 155,930 from 140,745; 9.3% for buses to 43,832 from 40,091; and 7.5% for cars to 787,597 from 732,663. Only trolley buses fell - down 13.3% to 288 from 332.
