The proportion of automotive manufacturing and supply companies hiring for internet of things related positions rose in July 2022 compared with the equivalent month last year, with 42.6% of the companies included in our analysis recruiting for at least one such position.
This latest figure was higher than the 37.3% of companies who were hiring for internet of things related jobs a year ago but a decrease compared to the figure of 57.6% in June 2022.
When it came to the rate of all job openings that were linked to internet of things, related job postings dropped in July 2022 from June 2022, with 1.4% of newly posted job advertisements being linked to the topic.
This latest figure was a decrease compared to the 1.5% of newly advertised jobs that were linked to internet of things in the equivalent month a year ago.
