Audi concept: a design study meant to point towards what the brand's cars may look like in a decade's time rather than a preview of a production model.

BMW 3 Series Touring: lengthier and roomier than the F31 Touring which it replaces, it is unclear why the G21 was not revealed at the Geneva show in March.

Ford Puma: not yet confirmed by Ford of Europe but a 22 January just-auto report states that the name will return for the EcoSport replacement.

Honda e (name to be confirmed): production version of e Prototype concept from Geneva show will premiere, exactly two years on from the first concept.

Kia Xceed or CrossCeed: (name to be confirmed) will supplement the Sportage SUV as a slightly larger model even though it will share much with the Ceed.

Lamborghini LB48H Terzo Millennio: brand's first hybrid supercar to have a powertrain consisting of Lamborghini's existing 6.5-litre V12 paired with a motor on the rear axle. Official power output expected to be 625kW (850PS). The company will make 63 cars and each is said to be already sold. This model will reportedly look very similar to the Terzo Millennio, a concept which Lamborghini announced in November 2017 in partnership with MIT.

Mercedes-Benz EQV: a prototype was at the Geneva show in March but this is the production model.

Nissan Juke: second generation not yet confirmed but as the current model is now so old, it seems certain that the IAA will be the new car's motor show debut.

Nissan Qashqai facelift: US equivalent, the Rogue Sport, was first with the styling changes, having been revealed at the Chicago auto show in February

Porsche Taycan: the company says the electric hatchback will be presented to the public in September. It then goes on sale towards year-end.

SEAT e-Mii: this BEV version of the second generation Mii is also SEAT's first fully electric car. A production version of the el-Born concept will be the second one.

Volkswagen ID.: name is yet to be confirmed but the public debut of the VW brand's first MEB architecture EV will have its public debut at the Frankfurt show.

Wey: "At this year's IAA Cars Frankfurt/Main, WEY brand will launch a new product jointly developed with Brabus Automotive in Germany, bringing their cooperative results to consumers", said a media release on 6 March.
