Blog: Dave LeggettWhose data?

Dave Leggett | 14 December 2005

I was out last night with a clutch of automotive industry analysts for a few drinks at a bar in Clapham. 'Tis the season and all that. The conversation ranged pretty widely but one thing that did stick was some discussion about a new data company called 'RoadToData'. I've come across them in the back of Automotive News Europe where they are the source for a table on customer incentives. It would seem though, that the company is a tad controversial as it was formed by a number of people who broke away from another data company. Click the link below and have a look at the biogs and you'll see that there seems to be a recurring theme in where several of these guys have worked. Yep, things can get incestuous in this business. But their former employer isn't all that happy with them, I gather. Cat has been well and truly set among the pigeons. One, two, three....oooohh!
