I'm getting out of the office again today. I'm off to a PR reception specifically for automotive journalists this evening at an Italian restaurant in London (tough life I have, I know). The PR company is actually a little different to most - it's called Automotive PR and has Welshman Professor Garel Rhys on its board. He's a top notch academic who knows the auto industry inside out after decades in the business and advising at the very highest levels. It'd certainly be good to catch up with him. With these things you never know exactly who'll show up, but there should be a few of the names you see in just-auto article by-lines there. At least this PR company is being proactive in wanting a dialogue with the people who their clients want to get to.
