Blog: We'd like to buy you lunch

By now you must have noticed our new website design. A fair few of you have told us what you think of the changes, and I'm pleased to report that the feedback so far has been very positive. At our end, it has taken a big investment of time, and yes, money, to produce our new mobile-friendly site, paid for by site memberships.
Your membership fees also provide our international team of journalists and analysts with enough shoe leather to pound the streets, tracking down the automotive industry's movers and shakers, obtaining the latest essential news and analysis. It's a quid pro quo. We provide a service that has to be paid for.
As someone once said, there's no such thing as a free lunch. That's obviously true, but - to stretch the analogy - we'd like to buy you lunch in the hope that you might want to dine with us more often.
Here's our offer. Hold on to you seat arms. For the princely sum of just one pound, one euro or one US dollar (depending on where you live) you can now get complete, unfettered access to all of just-auto's rich automotive content for 30 days. Once you get hooked on the more detailed analysis and commentary that is only available to our subscribers, we hope you will decide to join us as a full member.
It's been a while since just-auto has run a trial offer, and I don't think we have ever offered one that lasts for a full 30 days. So, I would advise you to take advantage quickly before someone upstairs at just-auto towers takes notice and pulls the plug.
With that in mind, a friendly word to the wise: our advice is sound, subscribe for a pound!
