Rick Wagoner may have felt a need to describe GM's latest financials as 'well below expectations' but he must be quietly satisfied. Incentives up perhaps, but GMAC raked it in during Q2. GMNA share down, but costs down too. Europe doesn't look to good on the face of it, but the real picture isn't quite as bad as it looks - at least relative to other carmakers. And Asia looked pretty good. It could be a lot worse. Have I got the rose-tinted glasses on?
