Unusual photo of the week is to be found with an article on the Zastava plant (formerly the maker of Yugo cars) in Belgrade, Serbia. It's an interesting article actually, about the pending privatisation of Zastava and the interest from foreign OEMs. No mention of Ford and GM or any other US concerns being interested. Well, even if they did agree with the reasoning behind why Zastava could be an attractive proposition, a clue to why there's not much point in them wasting time on an approach is to be found in the images accompanying the words. I am pretty sure we have not posted a photo of a car plant that has been bombed before...
