I'm out on the town with our Asian correspondent, Tony Pugliese, tonight. He's making one of his rare sorties to London and it should be a good opportunity to get his latest assessment of developments in the Asian auto industry generally. But his take on what is going on in Indonesia is especially well worth hearing (he's based in Jakarta). That is a market that seems to yo-yo against a background of ever present political volatility. The heatwave continues here, so I must admit to looking forward to a cold beer or two.
