Louisville last did Explorers now [a new generation] on-line in Chicago
Ford has opened up 1,800 jobs at its Louisville, Kentucky, plant which is tooling up to make the next generation Escape, expected to have lots in common with the Kuga we get on this side of the pond.
So how many applicants turned up this week to try and secure once of these precious posts? Put it this way, they held a lottery just to determine who to talk to.

BTW, the 1,800 'new' slots are on top of the 3,750 already in place to build F-150 pickups. We covered the announcement last January. A lot of retooling was required; now come the people.
