I have met with The Car Connection's Paul Eisenstein a couple of times in the past and I'm a big fan of his website. He was also a perfect host when I visited him in Detroit a few years back and I hope I can repay that courtesy sometime. Paul is well connected in the auto industry and his website publication, ably supported by other writers such as Marty Padgett, is especially useful in the perspective it offers on the US auto industry. I am a regular visitor.
just-auto deputy editor Graeme Roberts has drawn my attention to something that raised a few laughs around here. There's a review of the 2007 Dodge Caliber that contained this little gem:
"The Caliber also will sport one unique option that may change the world, or at least the smell of it. The new YES Essentials seat covering, Dodge says, is anti-microbial and odor-resistant. Are we as a society on the edge of a brave new world, thanks to fart-proof fabric? We can butt pray."
