Remember that Chrysler incentive that involved guaranteeing customers' gas at US$2.99 a gallon for three years? When the price was nudging $5 a gallon it sounded like a good offer. The pump price is now just over $2 rendering the relevant card useless. It will swing the other way again, but probably not for a while. Ironic though, to think of that handful of Jeep and Dodge customers actually hoping for the price of oil to go up.
