I am going to a big 'penguin party' tonight - it's the annual SMMT dinner at the Park Lane Hilton, London, and it's a black-tie job. Not really all that exclusive a bash though - there must be 800 people there. After-dinner speeches tonight are Sir Nick Scheele (interviewed him once, at Ford WHQ in Dearborn - nice chap) and maverick British politician Boris Johnson, MP. The good thing about Boris is that he is at least honest (a strange quality in a politician), which is partly why he gets into so much trouble.
