Blog: Dave LeggettSaturn SL heads most-stolen list

Dave Leggett | 26 May 2004

I have to admit to being just a little bit surprised to learn that the 1995 Saturn SL heads a list of the most stolen cars in the US. Theft data has been married to RL Polk sales data in order to determine rate of theft by make and model and, yes, the unloved Saturn comes out on top of the pile. Maybe its something to do with ease of theft or the areas where old model Saturn drivers live and work. I can’t quite imagine eight-year old Saturns being stolen to order.
