Blog: Dave LeggettRyan Tutak in Budapest

Dave Leggett | 17 April 2003

Spoke with Ryan Tutak (just-auto's Central/East European correspondent) on the phone yesterday evening. He's been 'underground' of late, working on things that are not very visible on just-auto. He was on excellent form though and is continuing to enjoy life in Budapest. We got chatting about Hungary joining the EU and what it may mean. A huge surge in property prices is widely expected. If you have any spare cash, real estate in Budapest may be a place to put it. It's got to be better than investing in shares I suppose (if I say that, expect to see a five year bull market start!).
