There's a report in The Moscow Times that's raised a few smiles around here. Sounds like the Russians are trying to outdo the Americans on a secure vehicle for their head of state (well, officially) President Medvedev. The report says that the car's designers got to sit inside while soldiers fired rocket-propelled grenades at it - a quaint tradition that goes back to the Stalin era. Nice. It is certainly an incentive to get things right though.
