Blog: Dave LeggettRevised X3

Dave Leggett | 28 June 2006

I've never been a huge fan of the BMW X3 to be honest, though I know there are plenty of happy customers for it. If you must have a BMW SUV (let's drop this BMW 'SAV' - Sports Activity Vehicle - nonsense), the X5 looks more like the real deal, especially with the full-on drug baron fat-boy wheels, darkened windows and the 4.4 litre V8.

But the X3 has just had a mid-life revision. The changes are pretty unremarkable except for one thing: there's a pretty sporty twin-turbo diesel added. For those people who fancy an X3 that goes rather fast.
