No world premiere car pics for you yet, so here's the view from the hotel room instead
There's much buzz here about the vehicle world premieres we journalists will be seeing tomorrow. Or in fact tonight, in some cases.
Already information about Audi's Q2 Crosslane Coupe concept has leaked out (it's an extended range EV with a 1.5-litre back-up engine) ahead of the Volkswagen Group's shindig later tonight. The word is that a preview of the Golf GTI will also be revealed, with the car to be on the VW stand in the morning as a concept. And what about this mysterious Lamborghini Gallardo Novo? Another special edition?
I'm scheduled to attend an event in a hour's time with Kia Motors Europe, where I suspect I'll be shown the new pro_cee'd & Carens as well as the facelifted Sorento. Might see if I can have a word with some execs and see how the always upbeat management team at KME is now reading the rest of 2012.
Tomorrow consists of an early start, lots of walking around looking at cars and listening to press conference speeches, hopefully make some time to update this blog, several interviews with industry executives and then a dinner with Opel where I am promised access to a board member or two.
