Blog: Dave LeggettNew Toyota Prius

New Prius certainly seems to be an improvement over the outgoing model. The hybrid powertrain set-up has been improved significantly to get even higher mpg figures, but the vehicle design also looks a lot better than the previous 'bland waggon' - at least in the pics we have obtained. They've even managed to increase interior space in the new Prius, something that will certainly improve its sales prospects in the US. Maybe the car will start to be seen as less of an oddity, but how many can Toyota build if it becomes a more mainstream hit? Wonder where breakeven volume might be? Must be a lot higher than the current 100,000 per annum.
