The new Fit EV
American Honda is planning to reveal HondaLink, an advanced infotainment/telematics system next month.
Technically speaking, the system has already been announced, as earlier today, the division's media website listed all the spec details of the new Fit EV. This plug-in model becomes available for lease in California and Oregon on 20 July. Other US states will follow, plus Japan.
In the Fit EV, Hondalink is a voice-activated SatNav system which includes the locations of public recharging stations, as well as a graphic depiction of estimated driving range. But according to a report in Wired, we'll see the 2.0 version in the 2013 Accord later this year.
