Blog: MMNA really flying

As we enter 2005, things aren't looking especially clever over at Mitsubishi Motors North America. Finbarr O’Neill, co-chairman and CEO of MMNA, has just resigned following reports of discord between him and the MMC parent. It follows the recent departure of other high-ranking MMNA execs. Morale must really be rock bottom now.
This is from the MMNA press statement: "My decision to leave was a very difficult and personal one," said O'Neill. "I truly believe that Mitsubishi Motors is on the right track and will have a successful turnaround in the North American market. The company has the leadership, people, dealers and products to succeed. We have built a strong foundation for the turnaround of the brand. Mitsubishi is moving in a positive direction."
