Volvo Car Corporation says its CEO is NOT leaving to take up a job running Opel and Vauxhall.

Swedish business daily Dagens Industri claimed that Jacoby was in line for the job of CEO of Opel/Vauxhall. This follows former CEO Karl-Friedrich Stracke having left the position in July to take on "special assignments" for GM CEO Dan Akerson.
