Nice to be here in Montreux (Switzerland), a beautiful setting for an automotive conference. Last night was a good opportunity to catch up with a few familiar faces over cocktails. Today, the program began in earnest. Martin Leach gave the delegates a pretty comprehensive and fascinating run-down of his views on the subject of product development. He also made it very clear that he's enjoying himself at Maserati, in many ways his dream job. When will he be moving to Fiat? In his own words: "possibly never". He was followed by workman-like presentation from Ivan Hodac of ACEA. He's going through ACEA's lobbying material. All good stuff, but I've heard it before and dived out to do this.
