Blog: Dave LeggettFord SAV

I hope the production Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV) that Ford has just confirmed will happen, remains true to the concept. The concept went down very well with journalists when rolled out in Geneva in March. The car has a muscular look and the interior seemed to work well too. I guess the big question is, is there room (in terms of acceptable volumes) for this in Ford's European range, the SAV sitting somewhere between Mondeo and Galaxy? But you'd have to be barking to choose the Galaxy over the SAV on looks. And SAV augurs well as a glimpse of a new design direction for Ford of Europe.
