Ford's Q4/end-year results announced today don't look too bad. There will be plenty of people wondering about PAG though. Land Rover's hitting record sales and making hefty profits, Jaguar is quietly recording good progress on reducing losses (with XF's market impact still to come) - the two combined are well in profit. And Volvo Cars - once the PAG burning bright star - is now losing money. And this turnaround to fortunes happens just as Ford is about to offload Jaguar-Land Rover and decides to hang on to Volvo.
