Looks like the Daewoo-FSO MG Rover negotiations may have fallen at the final hurdle. If the reports are true it must be very frustrating for those involved after all the effort. Where might that leave MG Rover's central/eastern European plans I wonder? Slovakia and Hungary have been mentioned before as possible locations for Rover car manufacturing operations. I hope the underlying financial situation at Rover is not as bad as some people in the industry have been saying - I cannot help having a soft spot for Longbridge. I wonder how China Brilliance is looking these days...
