Blog: Competition for European Tier 2s and Tier 3s from Asia

He's raised a concern that should strike a chord with suppliers out there - the threat to European Tier 2 and 3 suppliers posed by growing competition from low-cost Asian suppliers. He's trying to get a seminar going in Britain with the government - Department of Trade and Industry - to explain the concerns and discuss ways that British companies might joint venture with Indian ones (who could supply cheap components for their assemblies) in order to stay competitive.
