Pics of the new Mini Clubman are popping up all over the place. I don't recall seeing a press release. Maybe it's an example of the black art of PR. Nice pics and looks good though. The wee rear door on the right-hand side of the car opens out from the notional B-pillar, like some pick-ups in the States do. But how much would it cost to do RHD as well as LHD ones and do the same thing on the left-hand side? Too much, apparently. Yep, there's just one version. In LHD markets it's maybe marketed as a rear seat passenger access benefit. In RHD markets, as a potential suicide door? 'Throw the briefcase and your jacket in there, driver.' Gut feel? Hit or miss? Hit.
