I wonder if this strike will be a little like the one at GM. Some temporary strutting and then a tactical retreat by the UAW. Chrysler has more than ample stocks and this might be an opportunity to run them down. One difference though: Chrysler is owned by private equity firm Cerberus. Chrysler may be pushing for more than GM's management did and the whole atmosphere around the negotiations may have a more adversarial tone.
I'm starting to get a small idea of the scale of things here in China, but really, I'm only scratching the surface of this vast country....
