Blog: BMW Press Dinner

I'm going along to BMW's annual press dinner at a swanky hotel on Hyde Park Corner tonight. It's a good occasion for mixing with peers and saying hello to a few people (I hate the word 'networking'). It should be an agreeable occasion all round and, well, drinks and dinner courtesy of BMW is something of a no-brainer. Last year's event was chiefly memorable for BMW GB boss Jim O'Donnell's straight-talking attack on the MG-Rover owners. It was delightfully no-messing (below link).
I'm starting to get a small idea of the scale of things here in China, but really, I'm only scratching the surface of this vast country....
