Glenn Brooks has spotted that Honda is introducing anti-collision technology on a production vehicle. I haven't heard of this before and it sounds a bit mind-blowing. Will it perhaps encourage some people to drive a little more recklessly than otherwise, in the knowledge that their vehicle will take control if a collision is imminent? I don't think I'd trust an over-ride like this in all situations. At a level crossing for example, maybe you need to impact the car in front to avoid the express train that is about to pile in from the side...
