Blog: AM retailing conference

I must admit to perhaps not spending as much time on the retailing side of the industry (as distinct from the manufacturing side) as I'd like. But there is a conference coming up in the retailing area that looks like it might be worth a punt. It is organised by AM magazine and I've been invited along as a press person. It's in Birmingham, UK, on June 7-8 and there's a decent looking programme which is far removed from the procession of UK dealer group and distributor leading lights that I thought it might be.
For example, there's someone from the NADA convention, Jonathan Browning from GM Europe, Max Warburton from UBS and even someone from Virgin Atlantic to give an outsider's perspective. I'll go along on the main conference day (7th) I think and see what I can get out of it.
